Two different rotating speeds were considered in the analysis, namely; normal and overspeed at 9,100 and 10,465 rpm, respectively.
Constraints:
a).- Only few dimensions of the impeller eye cover and impeller back could be modified.
b).- Time allowed for a limited number of combinations, the maximum concentration stress and location was determined for each one.
